Tut Uncommon is a writer/reciter born in the Bronx and raised in Yonkers. Heavily influenced by early hip hop acts such as Big Daddy Kane and Rakim as well as Wu Tang and Mf Doom, Tut brings forth a smooth lyrical style with emphasis on literary techniques. Deemed a conscious rapper by some, Tut is known for clever wordplay and consistent timing and rhythm. Long time friends with Sir Spits, Tut was around for the conception of the hip hop amalgam, The Dojo and continues to represent for The Dojo and Yonkers.
