Quavo On Offset’s Car Accident: “It’s A Blessing That He’s Still Here”
Offset was involved in a pretty horrific car crash over the weekend, but thankfully, he’s doing just fine. While not in attendance at the BBMAs Sunday night, his Migos collaborator Quavo shared an update on his condition. “My boy Offset got into a bad car accident, but he doing fine, he up and running, he up and walking, ready to work,” he said. “He should be back working real, real soon. It’s a blessing that he’s still here.” Offset shared a shocking photo of his car, of which the hood was crumpled, on Instagram. He was also seen wearing a neck brace. he thanked God for saving his life in the post. While details of the crash are scarce, Offset’s fiancée Cardi B said that he swerved into a tree “cause a crackhead was in the middle of the road trying to get hit or kill himself.” She later deleted the tweet.
From the sounds of things, Offset has a busy summer ahead of him once he’s back in working shape. “This July, we got DJ Durel. He gonna be releasing a lot of our solo songs on his album, so we do got solo singles that’s coming this summer,” said Quavo. The rapper had previously hinted at a project called Control The Summer, which was speculated to be a new Quality Control compilation, but now seems as though it may be fronted by Durel, both Migos touring DJ and producer. It’s expected to be released in July.
