As we prepare for an October freeze courtesy of Gucci Mane, a new song surfaced featuring him and his good friend Lil Wayne. The spiritual “Oh Lord” features Guwop and Weezy call on the Lord’s prayer to help them avoid the haters as they strive for success.

Over a thumping beat and haunting keys, Gucci spits holier than thou lyrics vowing to put the streets behind him and get the guwop for real.

“Get these choppas up up off me, I’m street but I’m Godly,” he raps. “Know these white folks fear me but nothin’ can stop me / I was destined to be this / So nothin’ amaze me / My best attribute is bravery, they think that I’m crazy.”

Meanwhile, Tunechi asks the Lord for his support as he embarks on his newfound journey without his Cash Money family. “I gotta feed the family, but I had to leave the family / I cut off CMB, I’m an amputee, but I never leave Christianity,” he raps, adding, “Might have to plead insanity / It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday / I’mma pray for you n—-s, then celebrate.”

According to reports, “Oh Lord” will appear on the The Birth Of A Nation: The Inspired By Album, which is the soundtrack for the The Birth Of A Nation film.

The collection, which is available on iTunes, boasts songs from Vic Mensa, Ne-Yo, Meek Mill and Pusha T, The Game, Nas, Lecrae and Leon Bridges, Trey Songz, 2 Chainz and more.

Nate Parker’s film, The Birth of a Nation, opens in theaters on Oct. 7.
