Bruno Mars just dropped his new, anticipated album 24K Magic, for the folks who need to put a little pep in their step.
Keeping it short and sweet, the album is only 9-tracks and serves as the follow up to Bruno’s 2012 album, Unorthodox Jukebox, which opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Led by the funk-laced singles, “24K Magic” and “Chunky,” the album also features appearances from Halle Berry on the sultry “Calling All My Lovelies,” veteran singer/producer Babyface, who assists on “Too Good to Say Goodbye,” and T-Pain, who co-wrote “Straight Up & Down.”
To push the album, the musician will embark on an 85-city tour in 2017, hitting Europe for a few months before heading back to the states.
“Sometimes I feel like I’m in the music business 10 years too late,” Mars recently told Rolling Stone. “How many platforms do we have? Whose money are we giving to who? It’s this weird game. You don’t even buy songs anymore – it’s just a subscription; it’s Netflix. And while we’re in the process of figuring it all out, I’m here trying to make albums.”
