Born in El Paso TX, Bern is the product of a single parent. Raised by his mother and later by his grandparents in California. No stranger to the struggle, at an early age Bern was involved with drugs, guns, and street life. It seemed like the dark days would never end but Bern found the inner strength to pull through and soon found his calling in Hip Hop music. Now he is a well known in his community as an exemplary mentor and inspiration to upcoming artists who share the same struggles.

Drawing his strength from the bad times, Bern believes that change is possible though the support of friends and family. He has overcome his younger days but still puts in the work to realize his own potential and assist others to realize theirs.
