Concertgoers In Toronto Attempt To Attack Pusha-T. He Alleges They Were Paid To Do It
Last night (November 20) Pusha-T brought his Daytona Tour to Toronto, Ontario’s Danforth Music Hall. While performing 2015 song “M.F.T.R.” Pusha’s stage was attacked with what appears to be beer and cups from the crowd.
As the G.O.O.D. Music artist steps out of harm’s way during his set, some concert-goers attempt to break through the barricades and make the way to the stage. Pusha-T’s security detail (wearing his “Album Of The Year” campaign jackets) and event staff security prevent the attack, restraining the assailants, and physically assaulting the person after he was dragged on stage.

Returning to the stage moments in the same video from another show attendee, Pusha tells the crowd, “Yo. Listen. Let me tell y’all something: this ni**a paid some ni**as to throw beer, ni**a! The f*ck is that? Y’all don’t know where the f*ck I’m from? You don’t even know! Keep going in this b*tch!”
Pusha-T then performed “Infrared,” the closer to this year’s Daytona. That song, produced by Kanye West, disses Drake extensively. It prompted a fast and fierce reply in “Duppy Freestyle.” Pusha-T then had the last blow, courtesy of “The Story Of Adidon,” a ruthless diss song which outed Drake as a father, while verbally attacking his mother, father, child’s mother, and producer, Noah “40” Shebib.

While he never says Drake’s name, it is presumed that is who the Clipse founder is referring to, especially in Drizzy’s hometown of “The 6.” According to Us Weekly, three people were hospitalized after attending the concert.
Although there have been no new diss records since June, Pusha-T and Drake’s battle is still lingering. Drake addressed his anger towards Push’ while on Lebron James’ The Shop in an episode that aired last month. For making light of Noah “40” Shebib’s multiple sclerosis illness, Drake suggested physical consequences. Drake said, “We thrive off of competitive nature. Rap purists and people who just love confrontation love to say, ‘Man, there’s no rules in this sh*t.’ But there are f*cking rules in this sh*t! I’m gonna tell you something: I knew something was gonna come up about my kid. They had to add the ‘deadbeat’ thing to make it more appealing, which is fine—I understand that. Even that, I was like okay. [Pusha-T mentioning my parents on ‘The Story Of Adidon’], whatever—you don’t even know my family. But I’ma tell you: wishing death on my friend that has M.S…I study Rap battles for a living. Now when you mention defenseless people who are sick in the hospital that passed away, that really sent me to a place that I just believed then—and believe now that there’s just a price that you have to pay for that. It’s over. Someone’s gonna f*ckin’ punch you in the f*ckin’ face. The sh*t’s done; the event’s over. I wanted to do other things; I didn’t want to further your reputation or your career by rapping back at you and having this exchange. That was it for me.”

Days later, Pusha responded on The Joe Budden Podcast. He alleged that Drake’s label, OVO, offered $100,000 to former associates of Pusha, seeking damaging information. He also played excerpts from what he alleges are recorded calls seeking this info.
Drake has not responded to these latest accusations. However, the Scorpion creator has responded to Push’ this year on social media. In May, he sent Pusha’s management an invoice (something Pusha-T had joked about) for “career revival” after the diss was underway.

This month, while performing at Camp Flog Gnaw, a screen slide read “F*ck Drake” during Pusha-T’s set. The veteran MC and executive condemned stage engineers and denied it was his team’s doing.
