Eminem & G-Eazy Catch Up At iHeartRadio Music Awards
Last night’s iHeartRadio Music Awards saw plenty of momentous instants, with Cardi B confirming her album release, an Eminem & Kehlani performance, and a touching speech by Chance The Rapper after accepting the Innovator award. Eminem did not simply perform at the gig as he appeared in a candid shot with G-Eazy backstage at the event and fans are clamoring for a future collab. The two rappers posed backstage as a television shows the events on-screen, while they both flip the photographer the bird.
G-Eazy looks a little starstruck in the photo and, who can blame him, he’s standing right next to a living legend in Eminem. Many have compared Young Gerald to Slim Shady, mainly since nearly any white rapper that steps into the game is bound to be set side by side with Em due to Marshall’s accomplishments. While the comparisons are flattering to G-Eazy, he has stated that he would prefer to be treated as his own artistic entity. G-Eazy posted the photo on Instagram with the simple caption, “Speechless,” as the two of them threw up the middle finger.
Eminem has made headlines for continuing to shatter records, becoming the first rapper to move over 100 million song units. G-Eazy fell victim to Funk Flex’s “wack rapper” rant, being called out by the DJ along with Nicki Minaj and Lil Pump.
