Nav Taps Metro Boomin for the New Single ‘Call Me’ [LISTEN]
Nav released a new cut entitled “Call Me,” produced by Metro Boomin, where the Canadian rapper talks about women, weed and having more personal problems now that he’s successful.
“I went on a mission with a bad b—- / 3:00 a.m. / I’m getting Backwoods like I’m Irish / All this money turns me to a savage / My life was better when I didn’t have sh–,” he croons.
So far, it’s been a pretty productive 2017 for Nav, having teamed up with The Weeknd on the cut “Some Way,” and he also recruited some big names for his video “Good For It.”
Additionally, the 27-year-old will be joining The Weeknd on the second leg of his Legend of the Fall Tour, starting in September, which is obviously a huge opportunity for him.
As far Metro, he hasn’t stopped putting out music since bursting on to the scene years ago, recently doing work with Lecrae for the Houston spitter’s song “Hammer Time.” He also released the cut “No Complaints” with Drake and Offset.
On top of that, the in-demand beatmaker secured his own company Boominati Worldwide through a partnership with Republic Records and Universal Music Group that was announced in June.
