50 Cent Buys 200 Ja Rule Concert Tickets To Make The Front Rows Empty
50 Cent and Ja Rule have been beefing for more than 18 years. Over time, the crosstown Queens, New York feuding parties have expanded to include Fif’s G-Unit (as well as Eminem, Dr. Dre, and others for a time) as well as Ja’s mentor/producer, Irv Gotti, and Murder Inc Records. The conflict has included physical violence—including Murder Inc artist Black Child stabbing 50 in the Hit Factory Studios, an arsenal of diss records, and a social media slug-fest.
50 Cent decided to bring the beef offline again, at least in part. Ja Rule has a November 9 concert planned in Arlington, Texas. On Instagram, 50 Cent claims he has bought 200 tickets for the event. According to Page Six, the Power creator spent $3,000 and used Groupon to complete the purchase. The G-Unit honcho also laughed that the tickets cost $15 a piece.

50 also posted an edited image suggesting that he intends to leave those seats empty, to send a shot to his longtime foe:
Back in 2000, Wendy Williams reported that Death Row Records tried a similar tactic during the Up In Smoke Tour. The label then owned by incarcerated CEO Suge Knight reportedly purchased 30 front row seats at many stops on the famed tour by Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and others. Several artists, including Dre, Snoop, Kurupt, Nate Dogg, Warren G, and The D.O.C. were former Row artists and affiliates.

In recent weeks, 50 has knocked Ja’s ability to pack in crowds. After the former Def Jam Records superstar canceled a show in Syracuse, New York, Fif remarked online, accusing the event of failing to gain traction. Ja Rule’s team cited weather and flight delays for the cancellation and offering fans the refund.
Online, Ja acknowledged that he must have upset his crosstown rival. He has since posted a series of edited photos, making light of 50 Cent:
Approaching 20 years, this beef shows no signs of slowing down. November 9 will prove whether 50 Cent shows up to Arlington, Texas.
15 Years Ago, 50 Cent Plotted A Pathway From Underdog To Superstar
In 2018, Ja Rule has been relatively quiet in releasing music. Recently, he vowed to drop a Kehlani collaboration. The Bay Area singer then publicly requested that Rule hold back the track, which she says, was recorded ages ago. Meanwhile, Fif released “Crazy,” a collaboration with Philadelphia’s PnB Rock. He’s also worked with the Bronx, New York’s Don Q.
