PARTYNEXTDOOR Drops Two New Songs ‘Put It on Silent’ and ‘Naked’ [LISTEN]
PARTYNEXTDOOR is on a roll. Just days after releasing “Break Me Down” and “DAMN,” the singer-songwriter delivered two more songs to add to your playlist.
The first track is “Put It on Silent,” a slow burning R&B tune that features PND conveying no emotions in an adulterous tryst with a woman who has a boyfriend. “I’ma keep goin’, keep goin’, keep goin’, goin’ / Even if your phone starts ringin’, even if your boyfriend trippin’,” he sings, adding, “There’s someone out there who got sympathy for your n—- / Not me.”
The second song, the club-driven “Naked,” is a little bit more romantic as the OVO singer makes it clear of his intentions with a potential lover. “I don’t know why you do the things you do,” he sings. “Asking me questions like what I need and what I like / I’mma keep it real with you / I need you to get in there naked.”
PARTYNEXTDOOR is having a phenomenal year so far. The 24-year-old crooner dropped his COLOURS 2 EP back in June, and appeared on Majid Jordan’s sultry tune, “One I Want.” Not to mention his “Freak In You” (Remix),” featuring his OVO boss Drake, is still a hot summertime ballad.
