Kendrick Lamar‘s DAMN. album has been one of the runaway successes of hip-hop’s 2017 calendar year. With the record now certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA, the rapper wants to thank those who made it possible: the fans.
In a new picture he posted to his official Instagram page, Kendrick expressed his unwavering gratitude to his supporters, whom he admitted always go the extra mile for him. “These murals forever belong to my fans,” he wrote in the caption. “You’ve always taken my words above and beyond. Around the world and back again. With trust. I am forever grateful. 2x”
K Dot is currently in the midst of his massive DAMN. tour, which saw 2 Chainzmake a surprise appearance on-stage with him and Travis Scott over the weekend.
