Freddie Gibbs Spits Tough Bars on New Track ‘The Wave’ [LISTEN]

Freddie Gibbs is back with a new single called “The Wave,” which is produced by French producer FEYNMAN.

Over a fist-pounding beat, eerie synths and other melodic sounds, the Gibbster delivers his trademark gruff bars that shows why he’s the hard-hitting lyricist in the rap game.

The song comes as Gibbs bravely prepares to embark on an European tour. Now the last time he went overseas, he found himself in prison facing a rape charge but was later exonerated.

Gibbs is embarking on his European trek in support of his latest album, You Only Live 2wice. The 35-year-old will launch his tour on Nov. 17 in Sweden and will hit countries like Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France before wrapping it up in Dublin, Ireland on Dec. 5.

Meanwhile, FEYNMAN’s will release his seven track EP Illusions II on Dec. 1.
